SHOW JUMPER
Kama Godek LLC at Ohana Equestrian Preserve is a full service equitation, hunter/jumper show stable in Northern Virginia catering to riders who want to improve their competitive performance and expand their equestrian skills on the A circuit both nationally and at the FEI level in jumpers.
Our head trainer, Kama, competes in Grand Prix's up to the 5* FEI level and as well as holding both the USHJA Trainer Certification and the German Trainers Certification from the Westfalian Rider and Driving School in Münster Germany. After competing for over a decade in Europe she returned to the US in 2012 and has helped some of the nations top juniors get experience entering the medal/maclay and jumper rings for the first time. By 2016, the Zone 3 Prix de States team was made up of three junior riders that Kama started in the jumper ring and brought into the high junior jumpers; Sandra Zimmerli, Malachi Hinton and Taylor St Jacques.
Manager and home trainer, Laurie Pitts, has been the stable manager for five years during the prestigious George Morris Horsemastership Clinic held in Wellington, Florida during WEF as well as working many years for Joe Fargis. Most recently Laurie assisted at the 2016 Rio Olympics for Australian rider Matt Williams.
Our state of the art new facility in Aldie, Virginia, includes an indoor arena with Atwood footing, a two story lounge with Wi-Fi and monthly events and clinics to connect with other horse people both at our barn and around the area.
Ohana Equestrian Preserve is located just 1 mile South of Gilberts Corner on rt15, just 2 miles from Willowsford, South Riding and close to Creighton Farms. Visitors are welcome by appointment.
